We frame, board, tape and sand the work to a smooth, paint-ready finish.
Standard gypsum board absorbs moisture and can soften or grow mould if used in a bathroom, kitchen or near a balcony door in Dubai’s humid months. Moisture-resistant board costs more per square metre but holds up far better in these areas, and we use it as standard wherever a ceiling or partition sits close to a wet area, even if the client did not ask for it specifically.
Adding a partition wall or a new ceiling in an apartment or office usually means working above or alongside shared services such as sprinkler pipes, smoke detectors and AC ducting. In most towers, building management requires a permit or NOC before this kind of work, partly to confirm fire and safety systems are not blocked. We arrange this on your behalf where required, and route around shared services rather than boxing over them.
Price depends mainly on the area being boarded, the height and complexity of the ceiling design, and whether moisture-resistant board or extra framing is needed. A straight partition wall is more cost-effective per square metre than a false ceiling with steps, recesses or integrated lighting. We confirm the final price once we have measured the space.
